We take pleasure in informing you that MDeC (www.mdec.com.my) has appointed Buzznet Sdn. Bhd. (www.buzznetlabs.com) to conduct a mentored on-the-job training programme in Software Engineering. The focus will be on J2EE, with database and report writing technologies. This initiative is being undertaken by MDeC as part of its focused approach in developing human capital and knowledge workers; specifically a talent pool to support the development and growth of the ICT industry in Malaysia.

Buzznet's appointment is made after having successfully concluded a similar training project for a similar programme earlier this year.

Details of this new programme:
Date:             Commencing 1st November 2006 (full time)
Duration:         5 months, including:
                        3 months class/lab sessions and 2 months of
                        real software project development
Hours :            Monday – Friday 8.30 – 5.30 pm
                        Saturday             9.00 – 12.30 pm
Venue:             Buzznet office (s) in KL or PJ (to be advised)

Programme Title:    
Professional Certification in Software Engineering for J2EE Technologies. (Post training, a Sun Java Programming (SJCP) Certification Exam is highly recommended).

Programme Objective:        
To train candidates to standards for global acceptance in the area of J2EE and related development technologies. .

Enrolment Requirement:    
·         This is a fully sponsored programme for students that meet the entry requirement. 50 seats are available.
·         Possess a degree or advance diploma in any IT related discipline with a credit, distinction or CGPA of 2.5 and above.
·         Pass an Aptitude Test and Personal Interview conducted by our appointed panel.
·         Is a Malaysian and have graduated from a recognized college not earlier than 2004.

Other benefits:        
A monthly allowance to cover transportation and meals will also be provided.
